The Summer of 2012 – or How I Lost 20 Pounds This Summer!

 

I was going to upload some of those “before/after” photos – you know the ones:

pot-belly to fat-belly, no more love-handles, etc. But I decided instead to compare how I felt about myself “before/after”. I’m sure a lot of people will be able to identify with this. First, a little background info.

It started this Spring 2012, when I decided to get back in shape to look good in my swimming trunks at the beach. I must say, I have noticed this is getting more and more difficult each year. My exercise program left me hungry, and I felt that I had “earned” those extra goodies afterwards. It always worked in the past, so why not now?

 

By the middle of June, I had actually gained a few pounds and was quite depressed. A good friend told me about his positive experience with Lean28 diet drops. He said the whole thing was a lot easier than the pain and agony I was going through.

So on July 1st, 2012, I began the Lean28 Diet Program, and now – 6 weeks and minus 27 pounds later – I feel great. Here’s a list of my “before/after” Lean28 feelings.

  • Before – Evening – 30-40 minute Jogging, followed by a beer ( and maybe a snack).
  • After – no exercise program and no snack.

The biggest difference is really the way I felt all day.

Before, I was always tired after eating or hungry after exercising. I was usually frustrated and upset.

Now, I feel alive – lots of energy, and much more time for hobbies.

Kelli, why did you choose this diet?

The #1 reason I chose this diet is because my friend had done it and had good results.  I needed fast weight loss due to my goal of running a marathon before I hit 35 years of age.

What tips do you have for others who want fast weight loss?

If you want fast weight loss then you need to follow the meal plan and write down everything you eat.  It is remarkable how much weight you can lose in such a short amount of time.

Has this been the best diet to lose weight fast?

Yes.  I have struggled with my weight for a long time because nothing worked fast enough for me.  I would go on a diet and it would take 5 months to lose 12 to 15 pounds.  That is just too long.  I can’t keep doing it for that long.  This diet allowed me to reach my goal in 30 to 35 days.  Yes!

How easy was it to lose weight?

It was and it wasn’t.  Once I committed to eating according to the meal plan it was easy but that took about 7 days.  I did not cheat after that. 

Did you exercise a lot?

Yes.  I was training for my marathon.  I was running about 5 to 10 miles a day.  The weird thing was I did not lose any weight the first month I trained.  Once I used the drops and ate the approved proteins etc I lost weight fast.

How did losing weight fast affect your exercise?

Losing weight fast helped my joints and breathing a lot.  I ran the same mileage before the drops but my hips hurt and my knees were killing me.  Once I lost the 20 pounds I had a lot more energy and a lot less pain.
